Cross-Association and Cyber Attack Impact Assessment tool.
The Cross-Association and Cyber Attack Impact Assessment (CA-CAIA) tool aims to bridge the gap between recently developed IDS design strategies and IDS detection engines by: (i) selecting the process variables that are the most sensitive to specific interventions (i.e., cyber attacks), which could trigger early alarms even in the case of non-disruptive (i.e., stealthy) attacks; (ii) significantly reducing the number of process variables that need to be monitored, thus reducing costs; and (iii) by identifying highly correlated process variables.
